B.Ed. Course

Eligibility (Qualification for Admission):

Candidate aspiring for B.Ed. course must have passed Graduation in any discipline e.g., (B.A., B.Com. and B.Sc.)

Mode of Admission:

Admission shall be made to those candidates who will have 50% marks in any discipline and appearing entrance test.

Duration of Course:

One year

Degree to be Awarded:

The students who will pass their B.Ed. final examination shall be awarded the degree of B.Ed. by the Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut

Number of Seats:

Total number of seats 100.

How to submit an Application Form:

1-               Application shall be submitted on a prescribed form which may be obtained from the college office on any working day & shall be submitted along with recent passport size photograph is to be pasted on the application form.

2-                 Xerox copies of the following certificates & testimonials shall be dispatched with the application form. (Original documents & testimonials shall have to be produce at the time of interview).

(i)                  Mark sheet of High School

(ii)                Mark sheet of Intermediate.

(iii)               Mark sheet of Graduation (If necessary).

(iv)              Character certificate of the principal of the college last attended.

(v)               Migration Certificate for the student who have passed Intermediate/Graduation from any other state / board / university.

(vi)              Provisional certificate for B.Ed. classes.

Fee Structure:

B.Ed. annual fee Rs. 66092/- only.
 

Attendance:

Minimum 75% attendance of the total lecture in each subject is compulsory for appearing in the annual examination.

Duration of Lectures:

The minimum duration for theory shall be 45 minutes and one hour for practical.

Re-Admission:

If name of the student is struck-off due to ten days continuous absence or non payment of dues after ten days of the due fixed for it, re-admission will be made on payment of Rs. 1000/- Plus Rs. 1/- per day absence fine of Rs. 5/- per day late payment fine.

Disciplinary Rules:

The Institute pursues the ideals of training of minds, quest for knowledge and of healthy life. Any act of misconduct committed by a student shall be an act of violation of discipline which will make a student liable to be penalized by the authorities Act of indiscipline shall include.

  1. Disruption of teaching, study, examination, administrative work.

  2. Damaging or defacing college property of managing committee members of the college or any other property inside or outside the college premises.

  3. Engaging in any attempt at wrongful confinement of staff and other members of the college.

  4. Use of abusive and derogatory slogans or intimidatory language or incitements of hatred and violence of any act calculated to the same.

  5. Eve teasing or disrespectful behaviour to women or girl students.

  6. Committing forgery, tempering with or misuse of the college documents or record & identity cards etc.

  7. Furnishing false certificate or false information to any office under the control of Jurisdiction of the college.

  8. Consuming or possessing alcoholic drinks, dangerous drugs, or other intoxicants in the college premises.

  9. Possessing or using any weapons such as knives, lathis, iron chains, iron rods, sticks, explosive and fire-arms in the college premises.

  10. Tearing of pages, defacing, burning or in any way destroying books of library.

  11. No person shall be invited to address a meeting or society in the college without previous permission of the principal or manager in writing.

  12. No society or union can be framed in the college without the previous permission of the principal or manager in written.

  13. No student should communicate any information or write about matters dealing with college administration to the press without written permission of the principal or manager in written.

  14. Students remaining absent for 10 days continuously shall be debarred from the class, college & annual examination.

  15. Any act of moral turpitude.

  16. Any offence under law any other act which may be considered by the authorities to be an act of violation of discipline.

Penalties:

The following penalties may, for acts of indiscipline and misconduct or infringement of the rules and regulation, be imposed on student namely-

  1. Written warning and information to the guardian.

  2. Fine up to Rs. 250/-.

  3. Suspension from the class.

  4. Recovery of loss caused to the college property.

  5. Debarring from participation in sports and other such activities.

  6. Disqualifying from further studies.

  7. Debarring from examination.

  8. Debarring from college.

Note:

  • All admissions to B.Ed. shall be done by the managing committee whose decision shall be final.

  • Final list of successful candidates will be notified on the college notice board in addition individual intimation will be sent by ordinary post.

  • Selected students who fail to pay off their fees within the stipulated time shall lose opportunity of admission & their seats shall be treated as vacant, and under circumstances shall be filled in by other deserving candidates on waiting list.

  • The institution reserves itself the right to permit or reject admission to any candidate without assigning any cause or reason. A candidate shall not be entitled to claim admission or lodge complaint against, as a matter of right even if he is otherwise eligible.

  • All the candidates of the B.Ed. shall be admitted provisionally.

  • Fee structure & rules referred in the prospectus of the college, being its right reserved, can be amended, altered & added at any time or at time of emergency.

  • Any amount received in the college shall not be refunded.

  • Site of Jurisdiction in any dispute will remain Deoband only.

COLLEGE UNIFORM:

During Summer:

(i)         For Male: White pent, white shirt, white socks, brown shoes, blue tie or white kurta pajama with white sherwani.

(ii)        For Female: White kameez, white salwar.

During Winter:

(i)         For Male: White pent, white shirt, white socks, brown shoes, blue tie, white sweater and brown blazer or white kurta pajama with white sherwani.

(ii)        For Female: White kameez, white salwar, brown blazer.

 

LIBRARY:

Books will be issued to students for a week and after this Rs. 1/- per day will be charged as Penalty.

HOSTEL:

There are separate Hostels with mess facility for boys & girls students in under Hostel Warden.Accommodation is allotted on “first come first served basis” for out of station students. Students have to follow hostel rules.Student will receive a copy of By-laws of the Hostel at the time of admission.
